Hard Drive is being detected by the BIOS, and appears in file explorer, but after some minutes it disappears. Even after restarting, or shutting down and starting the laptop again doesn't fix the issue. It gets fixed only when I click the Restore Defaults button in the BIOS. And then afterwards the hard drive shows up for sometime in the file explorer and then again disappears. It gets detected in the first few minutes, (i have kept the file explorer open and the d drive open), after sometime it shows file explorer is not responding and crashes. It is the usual file explorer crash. Only the window closes.
The start, alt tab, taskbar, etc work normally. And also the movies which are there on the hard drive are now somewhat corrupted. There are no audio glitches whatsoever. But all sorts of Green and Pink colors appear on some parts of the video. When I copy it to the other drive (in this case, the c drive) it shows the same result. But then I download the video again, but now to the c drive, it works fine. Also, if a movie or a game is open which is present on the d drive, it doesn't crash or close. It works properly. And I didn't see any glitches in the games either.
This glitch started to appear 3 days ago. I was playing Minecraft which was in the c drive, I closed the thing. And then I went to check some torrent progress. It showed the error "We couldn't find the specified path" or something similar. It also showed "The device is not ready".
I seriously hope this isn't a serious issue.
