I think so man. Hopefully that's the end of my problems fingers crossed.
Is there anything we should try to get EAC or should I just leave it?
Also is there any useful programs/apps you recommend me to get like CPU-Z etc?
And thank you so much for all your help and patience with me and my stupidity lol. I was stressing emailing people trying to get help. I probably would've ended up sending it away somewhere. You also saved me money for not wasting money on a new PSU! Thank you for everything, I hope you have a great rest of your day and an even better week :)
Speccy
Clipmate. Helps with school

Not a problem things are always simplar with help and when you go step by step yes if you would like we can move forward with eac. For helpfull apps ill post link in a moment. But, speccy, and another i cant think of off the top of my head can helo one moment.
Exactly man. No worries take your time. Sure lets go ahead with EAC.

Also, why does my Speccy say this K19 for my CPU and 1799MHz for my ram when it's 3600MHz?

Oh then it's already there and active my man :) your all set and good to go the reason it's there is for repairs and alterations. However you dont need this. Just let it be.
Oh ok. Strange it’s picking to launch with the old launcher over the EAC. As long as it works I don’t mind though. I’ll probably download another game or two to check if they launch fine too.

Also, do you know if bluetooth comes pretty installed in PC’s or do you have to buy a dongle for it? cause mine says I don’t have it.

From what I'm seeing in your driver list your board is not the WiFi enabled edition you will need a dongle

I would put money on it being the psu. Although the RM (non x) range are high quality psu’s but perform below average with its transient response performance. There is more to a psu than a wattage rating. It’s well documented that the 3080 and 3090 can have significant spikes in load and a psu with anything other than very good transient response performance can have issues. As I said before there have been many threads on here with an RM psu causing these types of issues with a 3080 or 3090.
Pay up please xD like i said i still recommend the RM with the x or not still a good top tier B in my eye's isn't the best in the world but i dont know where you are seeing people having so many gosh darn problems with it. I would love to see this forum.... However untill then
the only over laying issue in the rm model is older capacitors supplying a "ms" more delays and short spikes in the v rails. Causing very very miniscule of a difference really in performance between the two.

V rails/ meaning split rails instead of a single rail psu this one has multiple.

perfectly normal! DDR stands for 'double data rate' so whatever the Mhz reading is on CPU-Z, speccy you need to double to get the speed. The amd k19 from cpu-z website means that the cpu you have isn't supported yet in that system you may have a outdated copy of speccy or it isn't supported in they're list yet because it is such a new cpu.

I need to double to get the speed? does this
mean i’m only getting 1799 of the 3600MHz?

Oh ok, is there a antivirus software I should get? or is there no point in one
I mean unless you watch a lot of "adult" content on your pc or do a lot of shady things on your pc theres no real point to it a lot the web has been doing very well at adding saftey features and things like that into them... If you feel safer with a anti virus... I would honestly ask someone else the one i use is malwarebytes but i never actully use it and never really have it installed.... They cause a lot of issues with games and things like that. Some webpage even will get block that are known good sites because some script "is similar" to a known virus fair yes but also a pain when it comes to specific things.

It will be interesting to see what happens but ultimately the only real test is gaming. I've not read anywhere that the issues with 3080's & 3090's can be artificially reproduced. Can OCCT create the spikes that push the transient response performance?
It throws your PSU into a spasm. Forcing basically every component to operate at max settings for a set period. If there's is a issue with the PSU it will find it

Sure I'll run it today and let you know how it goes. I did run FurMark if that has any relevancy and it handled it with no issues whatsoever.
Also @white.a.drew the game has launched multiple times with EAC now so it looks like you fixed it!

That is a positive sign but not the same as a game. FurMark will put a big but relatively stable load on the gpu. If you do see a problem from the psu it will be in gpu heavy games but where the gpu has sudden (measured in ms) spikes and drops in load and power requirements.

Oh ok. Well I'll run the test and let you know the outcome as I don't really play any really gpu heavy games. I'll be upgrading my cooler and PSU once I can get my hands on a 5900x. What cooler and PSU would you recommend for a 5900x and 3080?
