Question Why does my new ryzen pc keep crashing a few minutes after being turned on?

I just got a new ryzen pc as a gift with the specs:
Ryzen 5 3600
Biostar A320m mobo
16gb ddr4 RAM
500gb hdd
120gb ssd
R9 350 2gb gfx card
Whenever i turn it on it boots perfectly and runs perfectly for a few minutes and then it either completely freezes with no response to the mouse and keyboard or crashes with a BSOD with the error CLOCK_WATCHDOG_TIMEOUT. It has been really frustrating as i cant download or play anything without having to restart after every 2 minutes.

is it overclocked?

make sure the SSD is the system drive
