I can't seem to find any official or unofficial documentation on this. The Z590 XIII Hero has 2 8-Pin EPS connections and the manual says you can use either one or both connections, but never says why you would use both. What scenario would you use both? Overclocking? BIOS settings that ignore Intel's advertised TDP settings and need more power? Any help would be appreciated.

Solution
OC (Overclocking) Yes...
As you might know in the recent years intel is still continuing the saga with 14nm so... the recent CPU's (9-10-11 gen) are really power hungry... and if you put into account Overclocking it can easily get to 300W CPU Power Consumption (with the top dogs i7 - i9).
