Why does Windows 10 reset my screen resolution when I showdown my pc?

Why does Windows 10 reset my screen resolution when I shutdown my pc? Everytime I turn my pc on I have to change the resolution back to the setting I chose before I shut it down.....

Will it not save my settings?

Sounds like a corrupted graphics driver or bad monitor. Try updating your graphics drivers

Window 10 setting you should change right now

some major points which will help you to can change the window setting:

First you have to search the “Restore Point” in search window
Then launch “create a Restore Point” from the search result
Select the system drive then configure the system
Toggle Restore Settings to "Turn on system protection," set the maximum disk space usage by moving the slider and click OK
Then click the create button, initial restore point right away
Name the initial restore point then right away
After that click close when you have done
