Why has my usb stick changed language

my usb stick was working perfectly in my classroom computer until after one session when I tried to re-open it all my work came up in an Arabic language. Is this something that can be reversed?

You usb cannot change language: files on it can but most likely cannot do it by itself.

could be file corrupted, virus.

It it word files, pdfs ?
