Question Why I can ping the device even though i can't connect it to the software i'm using for?

I have this Zkteco Biometrics Device and it has a IP Configured By wifi (or DHCP) 192.168.66.102 then i can ping it but i can't connect it to any zkteco softwares. Sample Image of Configured IP on Biometrics

Which Zkteco device are you working with? Fingerprint scanner - e.g., the following link:

You are working with a device used for security/personnel purposes.

And resolving the problem should be well within any knowledgeable IT/networking resource with the applicable rights and permissions to do so.

ZkTeco's and Crown Security Products respective websites both appear to be very robust.

Either company should be able to help with configuring the devices and software to work together.

There is no way of knowing what your are really trying to do.

And Forum rules prohibit assistance with pirating software, hacking, circumventing security measures, and so forth.

Contact either Zkteco or Crown for the applicable assistance. If you are a valid user and customer then they should be more than willing to help.
