Question Why I can't see the name of my WIFI

Hi,

Most of the time my wifi works without any problem but sometimes the name of my wifi does not appear in the list of connections only on my phone but others (connexions) steel displayed correctly ... I can see the name correctly on other phones and pc
so how to fix this ?

Does it happen only at a distance from the router or even if it is very close? Not all wifi adapters are created equal, and some phones have some real stinkers. Another thing, but I doubt it is this if it sometimes works, but not all wifi adapters can see 5GHz networks, so if you changed your network to 5GHz recently and now just that one device can't see the network, changing it to 2.4GHz should allow older devices to see it. 5GHz networks also don't have the range of 2.4, so devices without good antenna will have a lesser range than something like a PC that has a big wifi antenna. Not sure what your problem is specifically without some more details though.

The distance is not a problem because even moving at a meter from the router it is impossible to detect it , I also have an older mobile sumsung Android 4.4.1 and a newer one (Android 8.1.0) both work correctely... the actual run under Android 7.1.2.(LG)

now it works after I changed the channel used by the auto mode on the router from 12 to 7, I think my mobile detects only the lower channels, but I'm not sure that's the solution.
