Hello,

I wanted to transfer files from android to pc, but when I connect the cable the phone only recharges but I can't transfer files, I tried to connect it to another pc and everything works normally, instead on my "main" computer when I connect it it recharges only

Since everything works normally on other PCs, I don't think it's a problem with the phone or the cable.

I noticed that if I change the USB port, on the phone accompany the notification where it asks me what to do (If to upload, transfer files, or ptp in short what I need) but it accompanies and disappears continuously, like in a second it accompanies and disappears 10 times, as if the phone is disconnected all the time, and it doesn't allow me to do anything. on some ports nothing works, on others everything works normally.

I also tried to connect another phone on my main computer and everything works normally if the cable is not type c, if instead it is mini usb everything works normally, so the problem occurs only with the type c cable but the same cable works on other pcs normally.

If I go to device manager on windows the phone does not appear at all.

Help me please!

My pc
-mobo: asrock b450m-hdv r4.0
-gpu: gtx 1650 super Gigabyte Windforce OC 4G

-cpu Ryzen 5 2600
-supply: corsair vs550
-ssd: Kolink Stronghold White atx
-i have one fan, and the stock cpu cooler

i tried to restart the phone but it doesn't work.

usually there a driver need to install on the pc to access the ph

how can i find the drivers i need to install? I mean i don't think i need to install the phone drivers because as i said it happens even with other phones but only with type c, so there should be some pc driver to install right? but wich one? also windows update doesn't already update all the drivers?

Find the manufacturer and model number of your phone and then perform a Google search on connecting it to your PC. For instance, if you had a Samsung Galaxy S10, you would enter the following into your Google Search Window: Samsung Galaxy S10 Connect to PC.

That should bring up results for connecting your phone to your PC and transferring files.
