Question Why I can't Use Maximum RAM On My Laptop?

Hello friends. This is my first post in this forum. I recently upgraded my laptop’s RAM from 8 GB to 16 GB. But my laptop can’t use 16 GB of RAM. Just showing 16.00 GB (5.9 GB usable). Guys, I don’t know why this is happening, and how to solve this issue. Can you help me regard this? Any help will be appreciated.

I have experience similar issue to this and a simple reseat of both ram sticks solved my issue

What's the make and model# of the laptop and the ram you installed?

Thanks for replying. I am using HP 14s Core i3 11th Gen, and 16GB Ram I installed.
Although I have solved the problem today with the help of this article, found it after searching on Google. But I can't be sure if my laptop's RAM will be fine or not in the future?
