[SOLVED] Why is my computer not booting with only Motherboard(cpu)/power?

I have a problem starting my computer. I went to install my OS on my SSD , but then on a video they said to remove the HDD. But when i did that, my pc turns on, but now my screen shows no signal. I tried reconnecting the cables and removing the graphic card cables even the card its self but still no signal. I then checked the cables of the motherboard ,the mobo power, connector and the 24 pin connector, but still nothing works. The fan gets power, and its just the power box and the motherboard. What can i do to fix this problem? Do I just need to buy a new one?

sound like you unplug something on the motherboard/psu when you remove the hdd
