Question why is my cpu temp high

I just upgraded from my old setup and im new to this stuff
specs:
i5-13600kf
kignston fury renegade 32gb (2x16) ddr4
MAG tomahawk z790 ddr4
Corsair cv650 psu
RTX 3060 ti
So i booted it and and was surprised bu how games were running extremely well
but as i played for a while my game crashed and i checked my temps everything else was fine but my cpu temp was 55 while not doing anything and on games around 90, one time my pc shut itself down.
i was told that my cpu cooler might be too lose and yes it is but i wonder if i screw in too much it might break something maybe its in the wrong direction?...
cooler is Cooler master hyper h410r and any help is nice

did you remove any plastic cover over the bottom of the cooler ( can be a easy mistake to leave it on )

OR

buy a better cpu cooler intel cpus can get toasty even the lower ones id be looking is the thermalright peerless assassin 120 dual tower or a thermalright phantom spirit 120 can be had quite cheap though ali express ( use pay pal )

noctua NH-U12A another decent cooler and single tower not cheap but great

deepcool ak500 normal or the digital single tower another good cooler ( also ali express )

personally i dont think the cooler is cut out to cool the 13600kf !!

Googling tells me your cooler should have come with a small tube of MasterGelPro. Did you apply it the CPU prior to installing the heatsink?
