Why Is My Download Speed Limited?

So I saw my console getting 30mbps average while downloading games, but my steam only does about 15mbps. How do I make my steam be able to do the same? I have my steam settings on unlimited and right next to my closest city?

Hi Legend,

Your Download Speed Depends on the traffic rules set by your ISP.If they have put a speed limit on Steam then you cant change that.I for example able to stream 1080p contents from youtube with buffering while through other streaming sites i always get a short buffer

download servers and steam play servers are different computers, you will get different result based on load of the servers, and/or parameters set by steam allowable "pulling of data" and of course your ISp lock downs.
