So my HP Omen 15dc Laptop (8 months old) kept freezing and fps drop for a second every few minutes and sometimes every hour or so... It was thermal throttling and I thought that was why .. I repasted the CPU and GPU and i'm getting great temps.. HOWEVER it is still freezing and suddenly I get 12 fps while I'm running smoothly on a steady 120/144 while playing games.
It only happens while gaming.
I checked afterburner , the only thing that spikes ..is the CPU usage but it actually spikes LOW not high , but sometimes the FPS drops without anything else spiking or dropping .. I'm lost and I don't know what's wrong!
