Hello everyone, im new here but got a important question, i have build my own pc lately, but my fps while gaming is incredibly low, i have a AMD ryzen 7 1700 CPU, a GTX 1060 6gb, and 8 gigs of ram. Im using two minitors, but that shoudnt be a problem since my friend has two as well with worse stats, and is gaming on 150 fps, Any help please?

Since your from Holland, I will be continuing this reply in Dutch:

Bij welke spellen krijg je een lage fps en op welke graphic settings speel je die spellen?

i've downloaded all the latest drivers, without succes, the games my pc is struggeling with are games like: Gta 5, Fallout 4 and Resident evil. I'm playing on the highest settings, since they are recomended. My RAm is indeed 3200Mhz, and i'm not using a XMP profile, and to be honest, i've got no idea what that even is... 🙁

Thank you guys for helping me

Update: I tried XMP, it seemed to work, bit then my pc wouldnt boot, not even in the bios, so i had ti reset my motherboard to restart my pc..., note that i dont know if dual and single channel has something to do with it

Hey, I'm having the same problem as you, I own a 1080Ti and Ryzen 1800x and get about 65 fps in GTA 5. You said that XMP seemed to work but you also said you couldn't boot your PC. So how do you know it worked? I've tried XMP in the past and couldn't boot either.

Try increasing your speed settings until no longer stable and then lower a notch to the last stable setting (via XMP settings). Just because rated for 3200, you may not achieve that speed in your particular system.
Yeah I managed to mine up to 2667. And it's rated for 3200. Also. My framerate did improve but not dramatically. It's still fairly low for the card I have.
