Question Why is my laptop droppping in FPS and heating up??

I played during the morning with no issues at all. Shut it down, turned it on later in the day and now my laptop drops from an average of 60 fps in all games to below 10 fps 10-20 seconds after launching and does not go up again. Almost everything else on the PC works fine. It also starts heating up. And the PC is generally hotter than usual.
I ran antivirus, updated the PC, updated my graphics driver, follow online tutorials and guides.
Nothing worked. I didn't install anything recently and it has been an issue in the 1 year and 10 months i've had it.
What could be the issue?

PC: ASUS FX553VD 15.6"

Specs:
GeForce GTX 1050
Core i5-7300HQ
8GB RAM
256GB SSD
Win 10 Home

Huh, funny. Now that you mention it, the fan is kind of silent. Didn't even notice it. So what? Dust or maybe broken?

Solved by cleaning fan. No fuzz here.
