Question Why is my PC black-screening at the Windows login screen ?

Evening everyone I’ve been having some problems with my PC turning off randomly and now i went to boot it up and it boots fine, shows the Msi logo then proceeds to black screen and show 4 dots , is there a common fault for this ??

You've left out a lot of info pertaining to your system's specs. You could try and boot into Safe Mode, then use DDU to remove all GPU drivers(Intel, AMD and Nvidia) then manually reinstall with the latest driver sourced from your GPU chip maker's support site, in an elevated command, i.e, Right click installer>Run as Administrator.

Would be a good idea to see if your motherboard is pending a BIOS updates prior to performing the driver wipe/reinstall.
