Why is there a tab in one of my GPU's hdmi ports?

I want to get another monitor, and my GPU apparently has 2 hdmi ports except one of them has a tab in it with a no symbol on it, I don't know if this means I shouldn't use the hdmi port or if the tab in the port is just a placeholder.

it ia to "safe guard" the port, and it was shipped this way, you can easily pluck it out. if you want to use that port.
