Why is this SSD so cheap? (Samsung)

This SSD seems unrealistically cheap:
http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Samsung-MMCRE28G8MXP-0VBH1-Solid-State-Drive-SSD-128GB-1-8-SATA-SSD-T400s-/320810750136?_trksid=p5197.m7&_trkparms=algo%3DLVI%26itu%3DUCI%26otn%3D5%26po%3DLVI%26ps%3D63%26clkid%3D4865656850922096724

But buyer feedback shows them to be happy about the drives. Is there something I should be worried about?

Samsung makes their own memory chips, so do they save the best chips for their own SSDs?
Would I need a Micro SATA adapter for this SSD? Would I also need a special mount?
Would a Micro Sata slow down the SSD? Would it still be faster than a hard drive?

eBay... USED and i never trust it.
However i am having a eBay business for few years does feedback can be made out from there own.
Don't give your 100% trust to does feedback.

Install SSD is same as SATA drive trouble free~ lol

good luck

The ssd is used. It was removed from a Lenovo laptop computer. It is not new.

It is an OEM version. It is not a retail version. That is why it has a different model number than the retail version.

The ssd firmware is for a Lenovo laptop. Samsung provides different firmware for different brands of off the shelf pc's and laptops.

There is no Samsung warranty for a used ssd.

Since it was designed for laptop use you would have to purchase cable adapters and bracket adapters to install it in a desktop pc.

I hope you realise it is a used SATA 2 3Gb/s ssd. The Samsung equivalent for a desktop pc is the Samsung 470.

Again - There is no Samsung warranty. There is no ebay seller warranty. The ebay seller does not accept returns. Here is a direct quote from the terms of service:

"Sales Listed AS/IS: Items that are sold AS IS are not covered under warranty; implied or otherwise. We do not accept returns on items sold AS/IS--No exceptions. We state all known problems with items that are sold AS/IS. However, there may be problems that we are not aware of, or, simply did not know to look for. We do not warrant that an item sold AS/IS is working, 100% complete or fit for use."

But they say they accept returns for DOA items.
So it's too good to be true then? They could sell a broken SSD as 'used' and take no responsibility?

BTW where do you buy your components? I really hate using eBay but can't find anywhere cheaper.
