I had both gtx 670 and 960. Why my mobo cant detect gtx 960? It not even appear in device manager. I had to connect monitor to vga mobo otherwise nothing appear on screen. Anyone can guide me?

1. Your mobo is not detecting only the GTX 960 or both the cards?
2. If you have a different system, install this card there and check if it is working or not.
3. You can also try to install it in a different pcie slot of you mobo.
4. If fans are spinning on 960 during startup?
Try these three options and it will tell you which is wrong. There is a chance that the GTX960 is dead.

1. It can detect gtx 670. Working perfectly.
2. Too bad i only hv 1 working mobo.
3 &4. Tried that too but same thing anyway.the fan on gc running but nothing detected. I even update nvidia driver to the latest. However regarding mobo driver update, the latest is sep 2013. Is that the cause? Is my mobo too outdated already?

OK, if possible can you install it just to check in your friends pc? It is not the problem of the mobo for sure. Previously this GTX960 was working on this mobo? Or you have received your new gpu and it is not working?
