Hi all,

I hope someone can help me on this. I have a notebook (HP Pavilion 10-E008Au TS). Currently running Windows 8.1 Pro. I am not sure of the root cause for it to lag especially when I am trying to use the internet. For exp, I can hear the video playing but can really see it moving. When I click anything it takes a while to load or just freezes and makes the problem even worse. But it is slow in general. I dont find my cursor moving smoothly as it should be. It somehow freezes every few seconds. What should I do to overcome this? Fyi, I have just recently formatted my notebook (from Windows 10) and reinstalled all the softwares. But the problem persists. Here are some of my notebook's specifications if you need it.

Processor: AMD A4-1200 APU with Radeon HD Graphics, 1000Mhz, 2 Cores, 2 Logical Processors

RAM: 2GB

System type: x64-based PC

I am not sure if I need more RAM or to change a graphic card or whatsoever to resolve this. Very annoying! Please help.

Solution
Try to go to Control Panel > Hardware and Sound > Power Options

Select "High performence". That option will drain your battery faster, though.

If that option is already selected then I'm sorry.
