Your mobo should handle 1600 fine, it's at 1333 because that's the mobo default, and new DRAM 1333 or higher will be set to the mobo default, go to the BIOS and enable XMP, then select profile 1, save exit and should be running at 1600

Yeah. I hadn't checked the board and assumed it was 1333 Mhz and 1600Mhz with an OC.
