Solution
Actually I think i figured out what it was, because my laptop is doing the same thing. I believe what's happening is because you previously were using onboard graphics, your computer was dedicating part of your ram to the graphics chip in your processor. Now that you have a graphics card, you need to go into the BIOS and tell it to not share RAM with the onboard graphics chip. This will very by what type of BIOS you have but you should be able to look that up.

im double check it, now i use new motherboard MSI A88X-G45 GAMING LIMITED EDITION, but still facing the same problem, my windows now detect 8gbs, but usable only 4gbs, why? can you help me?

i already done this thing... yeah its detect 8gbs, but in computer information said 8gbs (3.94gb only usable) why does this happen? i thought my motherboard broken and i got the new one but still im facing the same problem... can you help me plz.... i dont sleep for 2 days now because try to fixing this....
