why only 813 3dmarks..?

i get only 813 3dmarks in 03 version. athlon xp 2000+ tbred B, MSI k4vn mobo, sapphire radeon 9000 64 MB, sb audigy 2, 768 MB ram 2100, wd 80 gb caviar IDE 8mb. lots of other people with same specs get between 1000 and 1500

Have ya got the latest video drivers?

Also, are your running your FSB at 133? People somethimes have it set to 100 MHz. by mistake.

yeah ive got my FSB set to 133 in bios. my vid drivers are the catalyst .net drivers 6.14 or 8.203-51211 whatever.

Try changing your gfx settings to max frames. It is probably defaulted to medium quality.
I also think that the my 9000 pro used to show up as a vanilla 9000, so some scores may come from that.
I use to get about a 30% OC out of that card, it was an HIS version, so my scores were closer to 2k.

Have you tried doing the orb search for systems comparable to yours. Also old installs of any OS slow down after a while causing you problems.

where do you turn grafx settings to max frames? also i used atitool and my vid card is at 320 core, 255 memory. im on a fresh install of xp pro sp2. other systems with same specs have like 500 more points than mine. also my mobo was kt4v not whatever letters i said before

I wouldnt as for really more with the 9000.. IIRC, the 9000 was not better than a 8500(or does the 8500 was faster than the 9000?)

Post in the Graphic card section. Some has better knowledge that me about GPU and could inform you.

But I'm 90% sure that the 9000 and the 8500 has the same GPU or something like that..

thanks for all support. ordered geforce 6800xt off newegg for 105 so that should be good for next 2 years or so
