hi people i wanted to buy important & primary part of my new rig , Motherboard . but stuck on choosing one this 2 options
1.P55A UD3
2.H55m-USB3

i asked before & they say P55A UD3 is better for gaming . now which one is better for Gaming & latest hardwares ? & why ?

How was results when u had single GTX 460 ( when u hadnt SLI it yet ) ? Could u play it smoothly ? Maxed OUT ? if ur answer is yes then i got nothign to say if ur answer is no then what about SINGLE 5850 ? how it results would be ?

Remember this : i am USING 1440 REZ . Memorize this . & what if i get non Pro version ? because i found version of that asus mobo which price as much as P55A UD3 .

i like single 5850 because i heard to much of it . & when u guys say single 5850 is OVERKILL for my rez , then why i need CF or SLI for future ? if my rez is 1440 so it will be 1440 5 years later . so 5850 will work with same results .

the 5850 is better than a gtx 460 1gb on its own, i chose the gtx 460 because i knew in the future i would get a second 1 and as SLIs scaling is better than crossfires 2 gtx 460s perform better than 2 5850s, but back to your question a single 5850 for your resolution will play any game you throw at it at full graphics

thats great how about future games . will those game productions make something that needs something like ( 2xGTX 480 ) ,lol ? how Long will that 5850 work for me ? can i play future ( coming games ) maxed out too with no lag & so smoothly ?

SLIs scaling is better than crossfires, i am not moses i cannot predict how demanding future games will be but if you dont get a new monitor and play at that resolution you should be able to play all new games for 6 years at most i think

wow thanks a lot . oh & my last question is that : is i5 760 real quad core ? because people say they are physicly DUAL CORE . explain with little more details & thanks for all answers , advices & help s .

5no the i5 760 is a proper quad core, the i5 6xx cpus are dual cores, like from the i5 650 to the i5 680 are dual cores, the i5 750 is a 2.66ghz quad core, the i5 760 is just a higher clocked version of the i5 750 and its 2.8ghz

Thanks alot , oh but away i found this ASUS mobos but dont know which one i should go for , take alook . ( i prefer 3.0 USB than SLI or CF )

1.ASUS - P7P55D
2.ASUS - P7P55D EVO
3.ASUS - P7P55D-E
4.ASUS - P7P55D PRO
5.ASUS - P7P55D LE

please say which one is better than the other , like this x < x < x <
& are all of them fine ( better than P55A UD3 ) because u guys were saying it has a special thing that GIGABYTE mobos doesnt have .

I addressed this on page 1. and you didn't list the one whole-heartedly recommended by the respondents.

u suggested one , but its first time that i talk about rest 4 mobos . so please , please rate them i mean say which one is better than the other , i dont need best , i mean i need best from worse . after that tell me which one i can buy & which one is not worth to get bought . PLEASE JUST DO AS I ASKED THIS IS MY LAST QUESTION . thanks

we were saying that the gigabyte motherboards that support crossfire/SLI are worse than the asus motherboards that support crossfire/SLI as the gigabyte ones disable usb3 and sataIII when you crossfire/SLI, now if you can afford the asus p7p55d e pro then get it as it supports crossfire/sli and usb3 and sataIII, if you cant and you are not planning to crossfire/SLI then get the p55a ud3

Oh i should say that i am living in IRAN , do u know whats happen over here , its crisis . yestrday P55a UD3 was 200 now its 250 !! Revulation is too close , my mom says wait more longer , when every thing become fine then prices will come back to theire natrual places . but before that i wanted to plan for new rig now i found mobos which costs aboput PREVIOUS P55A UD3 , but i dont know should i go for ASUS any way ( sli or CF problem away , i am talking about quality ) ?

i found this Mobos , can u say which one is better than the other ?

1.P7P55D-E
2.P7P55D PRO
3.P7P55D
4.P7P55D LE
5.P7P55D -E Pro

please rate all of them . i dont know its IRAN or all other were mobo prices has got up ? anyway wanna plan for other mobo . just say which one is better than the other one ?

by the way you should wait, the ati 6xxx series is coming out at the end of this month, and by the looks of it a 6770 is better than a 5850 and is compared to a 5870, and when it comes out it should cost the same as a gtx 460 now, and the rest of the ATI 5xxx series prices will go down

Realy ? so i can get better car for lower price if i wait for 6770 . are u sure it will cost as cheap as GTX 460 , because GTX 460 1GB has better price . you know because its new i dont know which card takes WHICH place . u know what i mean ? i mean ( for example :5850 ) before its relase we didnt know is it higher than 4890 or 4870 or lower !?! but now we already know the RATEs . but 6xxx is somehow Unknow . & then it wasnt answer of my question .

for now i stuck which of these mobo are good enough & have USB 3.0 ?! ( u can find those 5 mobo above ur last comment ) after that u rated them & told me which one is better then we will get back to 6 & 5 series . ok ? thanks .

wow ur not in IRAN but u have found 2 Iranian sites for me . thanks a lot bro . i realy appreciate that . I have found those sites before but . i prefer to buy from shop because i dont trust internet shoping specialy in IRAN.

I dont really feeling like reading this, so ill just chime in. Most P55 boards are limited to x8 x8, which doesnt take away much, so that doesnt really matter. I recommend against gigabyte boards for P55, as their implementation of SATA 6 and USB 3 arent exactly good. You would be better off with a Asus or MSI P55 board. That board only has 1 PCI 2.0 slot, so whether you plan to xfire or SLI or not, id always recommend 2 atleast for a board in this situation. All said and done, id highly recommend this:

It has gotten very good reviews:

OK ok , please listen , i DONT want to SLI or CF just tell me which is the best match with ATI 5850 & i5 760 ? i mean which Mobos are great , i found these mobo too & i just want u too give comments about these ones from this time . take a look .

1.ASUS - P7P55D-E
2.ASUS - P7P55D-E PRO
3.GIGABYTE - P55-USB 3
4.GIGABYTE - H57M-USB3

ASUS mobo are like this 2200 ( OC ) but GIGABYTE mobos of those 4 mobos are only 2200 , 4 of them are USB 3.0 . now questions are these 🙁 SLI & CF problem a side )

1. are all of the great for i5 760 & 5850 ?
2. which of those perform faster ( work better )
3.which one is better , 2200 MHZ or 2200 ( OC ) , it is what i found in theire info part
4.i can buy all of them but if cheaper ones can work as great as expensive ones so i will go for them , what do u say ?

5. abilities & other options ( but SLI & CF ) are important to me according to theire abilities , RATE THEM with words or NUMBERS please.

Ignore the 2200 MHz (OC) thing thats just talking about max RAM frequency it can OC to, but its irrelevant. Dont get #4, its H57, not P55. All are compatible with a i5 760 and 5850 if thats what you mean, but i recommend waiting for 6xxx. Motherboards have very little to do with actual performance, and mostly come down to overclocking, power usage and efficiency, and personal preference. MSI generally have the best power consumption and efficieny, Asus generally OC the higest, and gigabyte sometimes OC higher, but usually Asus. But im talking only a few MHz here.
