Why will my pc not turn on?

I have been working on this thing since december of 2015. I have put so much money into this system, and It still doesn't turn on. I have rebuilt it numerous times, and currently its not even in the case, just set up as a test bed on the motherboard box. If you can help in any way possible, god bless. Specs are: fx 8320, 16 gigs of ram, cm 212 evo, strix r9 380, cx 750m psu, and an ASRock 990fx killer am3+ mobo.

Check that the switch on the back of the power supply is turned on. It's a safety switch that shuts off all power flow. It could be why.

No its not that. its in the on postion (the line pressed down)

Did you plug in the motherboard power connectors? Not just the 12v, but also the small one that is in the top left hand corner?

Yep, the cpu power connector is in place, seated firmly. I also have the 24 pin power connector in there. Im trying to find a paperclip to short the front panel connectors right now lol

Everything I have heard about those CX series PSUs is negative. My understanding based on every review I have seen is that they are utter garbage. Do you have another PSU you could use for testing? Maybe even borrow one from a friend?

Hi, thanks for your help. I had heard numerous claims prior to doing these builds that cx series psu's were good. Clearly it was misinformation. I can ask my friend, his dad has a bunch of spare computer parts laying around. Problem is hes always busy. Ill ask him and keep you posted.
