Question Why won't a brand new computer load windows?

Immediately after unboxing my new computer it showed "TUF GAMING please press DEL or F2 to enter UEFI BIOS settings", and the boot menu is empty, nothing there at all.

After a couple restarts it went into recovery mode but wont allow me to do anything because it needs a password.

I'll likely just return it to the store but since it's 45 mins away, I'd rather try here first. Thanks!

What computer? Can you provide link to the product page?
Are you sure, it has windows installed?

If it's a brand name pc, it probably has some user manual with it. Did you read it?

And yes of course I read the manual, which literally said to check all internal connections (I did), then plug it in and set up windows. Windows didn't start, it just did exactly what I stated initially.

Maybe a silly question...

When you checked all the internal connections, did you verify both the 1TB HD and the 240GB SSD were installed? Is it an M.2 or a SATA SSD?
