I'm a new pc builder who has finally completed his build, very proud; however, when I press the power switch: silence....
Nothing switches on, CPU, GPU fans, PSU fan, nothing. Could it be static damage? I was working on carpet because every floor in the house is carpet (except kitchen and toilet/bathroom) and I don't have any esd equipment. I hadn't heard or seen anything related to esd in the computer, so I hope that isn't an issue. What do you think?
Specs:
Intel core i5 10400F
Evga RTX 2060
MSI MPG Z490 Gaming EDGE WIFI
Corsair Dominator Platinum 2666mhz DDR4
NZXT C650 Bronze

Check this source for some things to check. Be sure to tell us what troubleshooting steps you have taken already.

Also, is the PSU toggle switch (on back of it) in the ON position? Verify that the front panel power switch connectors are actually attached to the power switch pins on the motherboard, and not mistakenly on the power LED pins (another common mistake).
