Thanks for laying out the material in a way that was easy to understand. I learned quite a bit.

so it's a bit clunky navigating thru this article - big deal. He was trying something new, perhaps, and it didn't work out. The underlying article makes for useful reading, however, and I for one did not consider it to be the end of the world, having to click twice for every page.

My God. The layout of this article is horrible!
Why in the hell is an article like this stuck inside a slideshow? Don't the editors know how annoying it is to read a lengthy article like this when over half the page is filled with one image, and the rest of the text is smashed to the side? Why couldn't they put this into their traditional article or review format? We don't need useless pictures to try and convey what you're saying about WiFi interference. Please fix this article to a proper format, or at least don't make the same mistake for part 2.

William and TH, Thanks for the nice article! Simply outstanding. While the layout is not perfect, people are missing the point here. The content wins out big time IMO!

first, people who say "dat" instead of "that" shouldn't complain about anything. ever.

If you click on the "read more" link and hold it down for a second or so, and then release it, the magic answers you seek will appear.

You really clicked 27 times? Didn't it occur to you after a couple clicks that this wasn't going to work?

Give us a "print" option which will print-out the entire article so I can then print to a PDF file and save it locally.

Really brilliant article! And many thanks for this TH and William! You are a great writer and your description with analogies and examples is really exciting! Many thanks!

The layout isn't as bad as many complained. If only the page navigation wan't done in Ajax i.e., if pages could be navigated using back, forward browser buttons it would have been great.
I think many ppl missed out the Left and Right nav arrows in the story board/film strip below the story 😉
All it takes to reach page 27 is 5 to 6 clicks!

You can download the PDF version from Ruckus. Just Google the title of this article and put '.pdf' at the end and it will take you to the Part 1 and Part 2 of this article.

I wonder why Extricom is not even in the discussion; from what I understand, they outperform all of the vendors listed.

I'll simplify it for everyone.
Blah blah blah completely obvious stuff.
Blah blah blah stupid stuff that's irrelevant to home situations (eg complaints about lack of airtime fairness in home base stations).
Blah blah blah statements about how great beam-steering is (but very little useful on how one can learn who offers it).

What's NOT here is ANYTHING that is useful or new to anyone with a brain in their head.

As far as I can tell the entire thing is an ad for how Ruckus is just the greatest wifi company on earth because they offer beam steering in their base station.
Yeah, whatever guys. Enjoy making a big deal about this while you can because beam steering is part of 802.11ac, so in a year EVERYONE will have it.
