This morning I tripped (literally) over my USB Wifi adapter 🙁. The USB section popped loose and now windows says "Windows Can Not Recognize This USB Device". Any solutions?? 🙁. It's a Linksys AE3000 N900.

Thanks
Ian

Solution
Best case, the solder joints inside broke and all you need to do is open the device and re-solder them if you know how to. If it is a surface mount connector with hidden pads, some solder paste and a hot air SMD rework tool would be necessary.

Worst case, the pads and parts of the tracks have been ripped off the PCB, which would make repair difficult if not impossible.
