wifi adapter problems

hi, I'm in a bit of a confusing situation at the moment with my wifi adapter It keeps showing up in device manager as "! network controller" and I just can't seem to get it to work I had an issue with my hdd just before Christmas which led me to wiping and. A fresh install of windows the wifi adapter worked perfectly before as I mainly use an ethernet connection it hasn't bothered me but it's gotten to a point where I only have wifi at the moment

I'm sorry I can't give the name or brand of the wifi adapter but this is what I have

Windows 7 64bit home
Intel i5

And when I go to device manager >network ccontroller>details>hardware id It shows this

You need to install the drivers for the device. Just look for the model number online and you should be able to download it from TP-Link support site.
