There is a piece on my wifi card that is touching the fan housing of my GPU. They are working for now, however I don't like how they have to be spread apart like that. What are my solutions? Can I use a PCIe 1x riser on a ribbon cable and move the wifi card over to one of the openings on the case away from the motherboard? Will there be enough room under the card for the connector to attach?

Solution
It would probably be better to simply buy a USB wireless network adapter. Probably cheaper and more easily positioned outside the case for better reception anyhow. That would completely eliminate the problem.

Don't see why not, even GPUs can be moved like that.
