Question WiFi drops when Steam launched

I'm having this problem on an Acer Asipre E 15, Qualcomm Atheros QCA9377 and Windows 8.1. For 5 months or so I download Steam, I can play online games just fine, albeit with low ping, although I don't think that's the adapter's fault. Anyway, a month ago, I launched Steam and it made me login, which was weird because I set it to remember my password. I logged in, everything, and the internet just drops. It only happens with Steam. I had an antivirus at the time (Avira), launched a full system scan, no problem. I have a video of the problem here.

Sounds like the app was upgraded automatically. See if the site has the prior release.

That's kind of tough, since Steam automatically updates every time I launch it
