Hello, I am new to this website, and I am not tech savvy at all.
I have an issue with my laptop (Acer Aspire v5 537G (54204G50aii), the wifi doesnt want to stay connected to my laptop when I move into a different room besides where the connection is located. The connection works fine on all the phones in my house, the other two laptops, the xbox one, the xbox 360, etc, it works on everything else besides mt laptop.
This issue has been going on for several months now. Whilst I am not tech savvy I have looked up what it could be and all that comes up is that it could be an outdated driver, something wrong with the router, but i have updated all the updates for my computer, we have restarted the netgear box, we have turmed off the wifi on all of the devices and even deleted it from items that we dont use anymore, but nothing has worked.
I just want to know if there is maybe another way to fix this issue, or if its worth any more of my time and effort or if I should just replace the laptop completely.

Thank you in advance to anyone that can help me.

Sorry that this post is so long. I am just so frustrated.

P.S. It wont connect to any other connections apart from my own, but that still is as long as its in the same room.

Please try to uninstall the wireless driver from your computer and reboot it. then you need to go ahead and install the wireless driver on your computer. then it will start working fine.

I have tried and unfortunately it didnt work. I have even done a factory restore, still nothing.
Although I think that I have somewhat fixed my issue, I spoke to someone at a new computer store where I live and they suggested a usb wireless adapter, so I brought one installed it and now I can use my laptop in any room of the house. I would like to be able to use it without a adapter, but its cheaper than buying a new laptop .
Thank you for your suggestion :)
