My broadband provider will only support DSL connections.
Can u suggest a DSL wifi router that has good battery backup .
i found below one from online but not sure if it supports DSL .

Hame-R1 3G Wifi Router Built-in 4400mah Power Bank

That's a 3G (cellular) modem/router.

As far as I know, no DSL modem/routers have a built-in battery backup. However, you can power most of them from any 12V source, such as a SLA battery with a trickle charger.

Also note that depending on how well maintained your phone network is, it might not stay up for long in a power cut. No use having a battery-backed modem if the DSLAM is down.

Thanks for the instant feedback. The provider has confirmed that there would be a 2 hour battery backup support for the broadband connection . Hence i would like to go for a router that can support atleast an external power bank if not built in when power is off. Do u think Hame-R1 won't support DSL, but it has an RJ45 input. Also if you can help me how to search for DSL supported wifi router , i mean most of the routers have both DSL , ADSL support. My provider is saying i should go for only DSL supported router. So how can i go about it . Any help is highly appreciated.

Really? They sold of Linksys... that sucks, I don't actually trust any other brand of router...

Never worked with any routers that allowed WPS.
So eh dunno. Most of my work with Cisco routers
are purely for server infrustructure... so my bias
is a bit skewed. However Belkin I found to be unreliable
at best. While Netgear is acceptable. But I just prefer
to program routers how I want them to function...
