Hello,

on a SSID name when I try to connect to wifi it shows X on wifi symbol and says could not connect.

Please help

Updated drivers and flashed bios and reinstalled windows.

and also other laptops able to connect, only this particular laptop unable to connect

This is something I never saw. Maybe post the model number of the laptop and someone has seen this.
So I assume you see multiple SSID for all your neighbors around you as well as your own. Does those also have the X on them.
Although you will not know the password what happens if you attempt to connect to one of those.

My guess would be maybe the router is configured to use somethings you pc does not support. If for example the router uses WPA3 and your pc is not new enough to support that. Just a example not very likely since WPA3 is rather new and most routers support wpa2/wpa3 mode. Maybe there is some other setting.

Now it might be something like the wifi is disabled in the BIOS which is why maybe something knows something about your particular latop.
