My HP zbook G5 is about 2 weeks old and everything was working fine until last night. I downloaded an .ipa for chimera, which is a jailbreak tool trusted by many in the community. When it downloaded my internet became extremely slow all of a sudden and then I get a message from MS defender saying the file contains a Trojan. So naturally I scan the laptop with both malwarebytes and Defender again and they both found nothing. Then my laptop started freezing every couple of seconds and it became unusable. So I ran a full factory reset, and the wifi is still not working. I have no idea what could’ve happened to the laptop. I hope someone can help me out here

Are you able to connect it via ethernet?

what version of win 10 did it take you back to?
right click start
choose run...
type winver and press enter
current version is 1903

if you can get internet you could run https://www8.hp.com/au/en/campaigns/hpsupportassistant/hpsupport.html

or go here and download latest Network drivers - https://support.hp.com/au-en/drivers/selfservice/hp-zbook-15-g5-mobile-workstation/18865644
Installing new drivers for my wifi adapter seems to have fixed the problem. Thank you!
