Question Wifi suddenly dissapears

Whenever I open my computer and connect to the wifi, the wifi stays for about 5 min to an hour and then just randomly disappears, by disappear i mean it says 'no network connections are available' and none of the wifi options show anymore. I've tried a lot but never found a direct answer or solution to this.

and this is the only device in the location that has this issue?
you have tested other wireless devices while the computer has no connection available?

usually is related to bad or outdated drivers but OS corruption and motherboard's onboard WiFi failure also do happen.

Yes this happens only on my computer, I have a wifi adapter under my graphics card that I use, I've attempted cleaning it, unplugging and re installing it but none of that works.

not an expert, but actually I used to have a similar problem some time ago. Couldn't figure out what it was, but I've restarted the router a few times and then did the same with the PC.

Just in case this hasn't been discussed before: open the Control Panel Device Manager and check the Properties for whatever adaptors and ports that are involved with your network connections. Check the Power Management tab and make sure the box for "Allow the computer to turn off this device to save power" is NOT checked.

Yes, it is not checked, it's been so frustrating because in order for me to get the wifi to show up again i have to shutdown my computer and turn it on again

can just be a low quality or failing WiFi adapter.
try it in another system and/or try another in your system.

and make sure all related software and drivers are up to date from the device manufacturer.
