[SOLVED] WiFi works, but internet doesn't on the desktop pc

Overnight something happened as I seem to can't get the internet to work on ethernet connection now.

I've unplugged the router and unplugged the computer. I've done a PC power cycle thingy as well as did the netsh winsock reset and also the flushdns and still nothing. I've tried changing the data speed to full 100mbs then full 10mbs on the ipv4 options and nothing. OS is Windows 7 -- [added by moderator]

You have a usb 2.0 ethernet adapter, correct? This particular unit requires drivers that aren't stock in windows so you'll need to install the drivers.
