Will a Corsair CX500M support a FX 8320 and r9 270 on stock speeds?

I already have the PSU and would like to not have to buy another one right now to build this. I do plan on overclocking but later and I will plan on buying a quality high wattage PSU went i do just not right now?

550w is right in line for you needs if you stay stock and you up grade latter if needed.

The CPU and GPU at stock speed should draw around 275W when both are at full load. Factor in a few drives, fans, etc. and you'll be fine.

That said, I'd urge you to steer clear of the Corsair CX/CS PSUs, as the internal components are not of the best quality. I recently ditched a CX750M because it developed horrendous fan noise after just a few months. If you can, buy an XFX, which are essentially rebadged Seasonics.

Yes the CX500M will support & is sufficient for your current setup.
