I have found a good deal on a new 144hz monitor (aoc g2460pg) for my setup however after watching a few reviews it seems the monitor is made for nvidia Gpus. But the price makes it very tempting will this monitor be fine with my rx580 (no screen tear of input lag at 144hz)

Solution
it will work fine just you won't be able to use gsync on it.

this may effect the performance at high fps. you'd be better off getting a freesync monitor so you can get the best out of the card and monitor.

i just bought a nice 24" with similar specs and good reviews that is freesync instead of gsync.

no clue what price you found but this is a good price for a good budget monitor.
