Do you think a rx 570 will work with my p7p55 lx motherboard and i5-750? The motherboard has a pcie 2.0 lane

Edit: full specs
Cpu: i5-750
Motherboard: p7p55 lx
Psu: corsair vs650
Ram: 8gb ddr3

Also I read somewhere that amd rx gpu have problems with old motherboards

Solution
Yes, it should work just fine.

PCIe is backwards compatible, so a PCIe 3.0 card will work in a 2.0 board. You're not going to saturate the bandwidth available with a single GPU solution anyway.

FWIW, pairing a 570 with an i5-750 may not be the smartest pairing ever..... but I assume you scored the 570 for a solid price, so there's no harm.
