Will an Intel Core i5 run a DDR3 memory?

Hi, I'm trying to get some more RAM for my computer, and the memory type is DDR3. I would like to know if my computer (I don't know what specs should I give you, for the moment all I can tell you is that I have an Intel Core i5 as processor) can run this type of memory.
If you need some more infos, I'll obviously give you.

I've got something around 80 euros, but I think I've found my one, the 2x4GB I was talking about in the first post too:

Since you told me that I can run the 1600 MHz ones, I'd go for these, those are 70 euros with spedition included.

As a caveat, you will need a 64 bit version of your os to make use of >4gb of ram.

My motherboard is ASRock B75M-DGS and it says,

- Dual Channel DDR3 memory technology
- 2 x DDR3 DIMM slots
- Supports DDR3 1600/1333/1066 non-ECC, un-buffered memory
- Max. capacity of system memory: 16GB*
- Supports Intel® Extreme Memory Profile (XMP) 1.3 / 1.2

Can I just buy the CHEAPEST 2x4GB 1600MHz dual memory kits, or I should buy the most expensive out there? Will it improve performance by a lot? For the same 1600MHz memory kit, there are wide range of prices.

To answer your question, buy the cheapest compatible 2 x 4gb kit. Ram speed or timings mean little(1-3%) for intel cpus.
