Hello

Are the physical specs for DDR3 and DDR4 desktp memory the same?
Will this memory work in a Dell Optiplex 9010? I want to upgrade from 8GB to 16GB or 32GB.

The Dell spec calls for DDR3 240 pin Non-ECC 1600MHz RAM

DDR4 will not work on DDR3. Not compatible with your mobo.

DDR4 and DDR3 are two different types of memory modules. Each version of DDR memory is not compatible with another version.
