Solution

No bottlenecks here. The FX 8320 will work fine with the GTX 960. Stick with the same 450W Bronze Certified PSU. The GTX 960 only require a 400-430W PSU that can deliver 20Amps or more on its +12V rail. Just make sure that your existing PSU at least meets this requirement. If not get a new PSU.

Cheers!

Sorry, but I have a bit trouble believing you because there are people who keep opposing what you say. Ill wait for more answers. Thanks for the answer mate.

Yeskay is actually right, your system should be using around 300W-350W, a quality 450W PSU should be able to power up your system with no problems as long as you dont do any hardcore overclocking. What PSU are we talking about?

a rosewill ARC 80+ bronze

will i bottleneck on titles other than the AAA titles?
i know i already bottleneck on planetside 4 with a 660 and a 8320

The power draw on 2nd generation maxwell is much smaller than previous cards. My old GTX680 consumes way more than a GTX980, which is energy efficient. If you have a smart meter which tells you exact Kw consumption you can check it.

So Yeskay is indeed correct.

NO bottlenecks!!!
8320 will work fine even with a GTX 980
i am running R9 280X with FX8320 at stock settings and the GPU is always at 98-100% while CPU hovering between 45-60% usage.
