Will i be able to install intel Core 2 quad on my MSI G41M P26 Motherboard.

I have an MSI G41M P26 series motherboard (Socket LGA775) with Intel E5700(core 2 duo) @ 3.00Hz, x86 bit architecture and 2 GB of Ram. My question is that will i be able to install Intel core 2 quad which is of x64 bit architecture.

if not is there any other x86 bit quad core processor either from Intel or from AMD that would support my motherboard. And lastly is there any method by which i can know whether my motherboard is of x86 bit or of x64 architecture?

The motherboard does not support any AMD CPUs.

The motherboard does support Core 2 Quad CPUs which are 64-bit architecture
