Will I have enough wattage room to oc?

I was thinking about upgrading my CPU cooler from amd stock to CM MasterLiquid 120 lite
My question is will I have the room to OC with 500W CoolerMaster PSU (not sure about the exact model, but it's pretty good quality)
The other components are:
AMD fx-8300
NVIDIA Gtx 1060 3 GB
1 x 8GB DDR3 RAM
Motherboard Gigabyte 970A-DS3P

So it's not going to make a dent in PSU's power.

Don't worry, that MB is not going to let OC go too far, only enough for 20 -25W more. That would bring him to same power as 8320/50 which could be run at stock speeds on that MB just fine.

Your motherboard is not suitable for a FX-8 with overclocking in mind.

If the processor is not doing the job for you, it is time to move on.
FX is a dead end.
$250 buys you a G4600, lga1151 motherboard and 8gb of ddr4 ram that will perform better.
You can go up from there.
