Hi all,
I'm switching GPU's from a EVGA GTX 970 SC to an EVGA GTX 1080 FTW, the Card I have now uses two 6-pin ports, and the new card I'm getting uses 2 x 8-pin.
The wire I have plugged into my GPU right now is an adapter though with an extra 2 pins on each of the 6-pins (if that makes sense).
Will this be suffiicent to power my new GPU? Or should I take this wire out completely and plug two standard 8-pins in to the new GPU?
