I finally found the ASUS driver downloads for Windows 11 and would like to upgrade from Windows 10. Problem is, I want to keep my videogame downloads on the three 3TB 7200 HDD's which don't have an operating system on them, I fear they will be lost in the upgrade. The OS is located on my low capacity M.2 SSD.

If the OS is on another drive, no you won't lose your downloads though are we talking about a Steam game library? Make sure your all other drives except for the one you intend to install the OS onto, is disconnected.

By upgrade, if you do go through the internal upgrade path, then you will need to manually format and reinstall the OS once you've upgraded to the latter since the upgrade path tends to have some internal hiccups/glitches. If you're installing Windows 11 by formatting the drive off of Windows 10, now, then disregard the previous sentence.

If you only have one copy of ANYTHING, you can easily lose it. If those downloads are important, then you need to do backups.

1. Have the other drives physically disconnected during the upgrade process.

2. Please start a good backup routine. It sounds like you have only the one copy of anything. What would you do if that physical drive were to die right now?
