Hi - a really easy question...

I am thinking of building a new PC and use my existing 133SDR ,MX400 and hard drive with win2000.

Currently my mobo is BX(MSI6119) running a PII.

Can I swap over to a K7S5A mobo and use the existing win2000 installation, or will I need to reinstall the software on the hard drive?

It is not convenient. You have so many device drivers to reinstall that it'd be a miracle if your system will start.
But if you have lot of application that you do not like to reinstall, you can try to start windows in safe mode and uninstall all drivers (very probably also PCI cards will be seen as new components while the system will warn you that some components have been disconnected) and install again the new ones. Anyway, you can try, avoiding to reinstall all the appllications. Then the question is: will the system run in the best (optimised) way ? I believe that a new installation will give you better performances and stability.
